Consider the REACH legislation for the EU's success?
Are you ready for CLP requirements for mixtures from 1.6.2015?
Is your use included in the exposure scenario from a supplier?

1. Check SDS from your supplier if

  • you receive from your supplier SDS, be sure to in Section 1 of this SDS included and consideration of your use of the standard safety requirement,
  • if their supplier to get extended SDS (SDS-e), ie including the EC , check whether it included terms for your use
  • if you provide substance to the downstream user in the mixture, make sure you or your supplier of EC involves the use and conditions of use in relation to the purpose of technical products supplied.

2. Make sure the e-SDS includes your conditions of use

  • define Your use of the health workers for industrial and professional use, consumer and environmental components,
  • compare your conditions of use of the terms of the uses listed in the e-SDS.

We distinguish four basic descriptors:

• Chemical product category (PC)
• category procedure (PROC)
• Product category (AC)
• Application (SU)
• Category release into the environment (ERC)

For more information, see the guidance on information requirements if the chemical safety assessment Chapter R.12: System of descriptor use, which is available in English language.

When generating an exposure scenario should be taken into account:

• State of the substance (solid, liquid, gas) and its concentration
• frequency and duration of use
• identified risk management measures (RMM) (eg mask, gloves, ventilation, safety glasses, double valves, a safety zone between the reservoirs, ...)
• operating conditions (OP) (eg temperature, pressure, ...)
