IUCLID, the International Uniform ChemicaL Information Database, is a software application system for managing data on intrinsic and hazard properties of chemical substances and reporting to the regulatory authorities.

Purpose of IUCLID 5 (according to guidelines for IUCLID 5)

  • enables industry to compile complete, REACH-conforming registration dossiers and to manage these data on-site
  • enables the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), the European Commission and the Member State Competent Authorities to receive, further treat and manage industry registrations.

IUCLID 5 also complies with the requirements of chemical programmes of the OECD, ICCA and US EPA, the Japan Challenge programme and the EU BPD.
